Mock tests can be given that simulate the actual driving test experience. This enables you to measure your own driving ability to the standard required for the actual test. It is important that you follow the Instructor’s directions and stick to the test route. Failure to stick to the route will result in test failure. The driving instructor will record any errors made during the test and categorise them accordingly. You will then be advised as to whether you have passed or failed the test.
Allow for a 1 1/2 hour period for a restricted licence mock test. This includes (if necessary) a pretest drive, vehicle checks and a debrief at the end. A full licence mock test only requires an hour.
